Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. Qualifications:
Active Kansas (KS) K-12 teaching license is required. Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:
Serve as an itinerant Special Education Teacher, traveling between private parochial and other school campuses to provide specialized instructional support. Design and adapt curriculum materials to meet unique student needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success. Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and track progress in accordance with district and state guidelines. Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment. Maintain regular documentation and report writing for compliance.
