Job Description

Gain invaluable experience managing a 5:1 RN ratio, assisting post-surgical patients in General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, and Orthopedics, and deepening your knowledge with frequent cases of cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones. Expand your expertise with specialized skills such as Heparin drips, TPN, PCA, and comprehensive telemetry rhythm interpretation—key assets to showcase on your resume. Olathe's location offers you the chance to explore nearby museums, vibrant dining, and scenic trails during your off-hours, making every week an enriching adventure.
Schedule:
12-hour night shifts, 19:00-07:30, three shifts per week Every other weekend required No on-call duties Holiday requirements as per unit needsQualifications:
Active KS or Compact RN license ACLS and BLS certification required Two or more years of recent hospital Telemetry experience (within 18 months) Skilled in care areas: General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics Experience with a 5:1 RN patient ratio Proficiency in Heparin drips, TPN, PCA, and telemetry rhythm interpretationEPIC EMR
familiarity preferred Must be comfortable floating to all acute care units New graduates not consideredResponsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients needing significant physical assistance Monitor, assess, and document complex care using EPIC Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams Float to other acute care units as needed Participate fully in all mandatory orientation and ongoing training sessionsPerks and Benefits:
