The Automotive Mechanic II will modify cars and trucks in a prototype environment, performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. The Automotive Mechanic II will perform independent project tasks and collaborate with customers and team members.

As an Automotive Mechanic Il, you will be responsible for:

Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions andconducting inspectionsRepair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and componentsRead, interpret, and follow service proceduresMaintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair ordersKeep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshootingbreakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairsParticipate in daily shop organization and clean-upTo be considered as an Automotive Mechanic Il, you will need:

High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 4 years of work experience as a Mechanic Knowledge of mechanical assembly and ability to operate shop equipmentGood attention to detail and organizational skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamHas own tools with rolling toolboxAbility to read, comprehend and execute written proceduresA successful candidate may also have:

Certificate in Automotive Technology or relatedNational Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s)State Mechanic Certification(s)Valid driver's licenseKnowledge of vehicle alignments, air conditioning (A/C) system repairs, tire machines and balancersAbility to work overtime as needed including weekendsOur full-time benefits include: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, earned sick time, STD, LTD, 401K, tuition reimbursement, employee referral bonuses, paid vacation, paid holidays.
