Automotive Mechanic (Min. 2 yrs in-shop exp req)

We are located in Bishopville, MD and are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team family run and operated shop! The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs including engine management systems, fuel management systems, transmission, electrical alignment, steering, suspension, brakes, etc. Here's what you can expect as a member of our team Highly competitive wages (we offer hourly pay not flat rate!) Automotive Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities:

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with policies and procedures. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, alignment, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Perform vehicle inspections Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications:

Previous Automotive repair and maintenance experience required (1+ years) Must have a set of tools ASE certifications preferred, not required Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Valid driver's license Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment Basic computer skills Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
