About the Job On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a full-time Field Commissioning Manager to join our team for a short-term assignment at LNG storage facility project based on-site in Maryland area.
Main Responsibilities & Duties:
Integrate with team developing a process to support plant operations onsite during assigned work shift ensuring continued operation of facility. Execution of commissioning activities on a daily basis ensuring conformance to safety stands, contract requirements, reporting, scheduling and vendor interface. Ensure comprehensive integration of Engineering, Planning and Construction in order to effectively plan and schedule commissioning activities, driving Commissioning activities to meet Project milestones. Problem solver who can manage the safe commissioning, start-up and operation of equipment, systems and units in a timely manner. Produces and supports the development of all types of deliverables within specific discipline including maintaining records and preparing reports. Track and archive inspection and test records (ITRs), loop check, system commissioning status and supporting records then monitors and advises of major project changes. Ensuring that the contract specifications and requirements for handover of facilities is clearly communicated Reviews and generates design data and/or deliverables from various inputs utilizing appropriate documentation management systems. Performs the more sophisticated and complicated designs in accordance with established company standards Able to identify and utilize resources effectively and responsibly. Plans, schedule, prioritizes, coordinates and organizes detailed phases of work effectively to produce measurable results Walk down each system for turnover to commissioning to assess readiness for transfer. Prepares and /or supervises and checks documents and drawings as required. About You We'd love to hear from you if you possess the following skills. Familiarity with project documentation and technical proficiency in systems (CMS, P&ID drawings). Motivated self-starter to work hands on with operation partners in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and modifications. Ability to manage difficult and emotional situations effectively. Adapts to varying work situations and is flexible in approach to resolving challenges. Ability to work overtime 60
  • 70 hours per week including weekends.
Team player with excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English.
Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:
Proven experience in project coordination with a strong understanding of techniques in process design, mechanical design and start-up operations. Extensive knowledge and experience with LNG storage facilities or comparable cryogenic energy infrastructure Minimum of 8 years' experience troubleshooting and operation of storage facilities. Experience with associated equipment and managing punch list items of identified risk and gaps. Cable installation testing, pipe pressure, flange torque records and LNG system pipe support set points
