Automotive Technician

Job Overview Life is too short to hate where you work. Automotive technicians are in short supply (well, the good ones are) and everyone knows it. If you are a good tech, there is no need to put up with the drama or politics that some shops seem to have. Grease up the wheels on your toolbox, and roll it over into our air conditioned, drama free shop where our goal is to serve our employees, our customers, and our community. Responsibilities Thoroughly inspect customer vehicles and car lot vehicles, identify and communicate findings to the appropriate team members. Look up parts using our parts systems (RepairLink and PartsTech). Perform diagnostics using a wide variety of test equipment including scan tools, lab scopes and multimeters. Perform repairs on all vehicle systems, including internal engine repair, timing systems, camshafts, and head gaskets. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining high-quality service. Qualifications Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, HVAC, alignment and suspension. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, parasitic draw testing, and load testing circuits. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.

Pay:

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
