Automotive Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance, automotive diagnostics, and repair, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your mechanical skills within a professional dealership environment. Candidates with dealership experience, mechanic background, or automotive service expertise are highly preferred. The position involves performing routine oil changes, tire services, alignments, and other vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately. Duties Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections using hand tools and power tools Conduct tire service including mounting, balancing, and replacing tires Assist with wheel alignments and other suspension-related services Diagnose minor mechanical issues and communicate findings to customers or supervisors Maintain detailed records of services performed on each vehicle Use automotive diagnostics equipment to identify potential issues when necessary Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations Maintain cleanliness of work area and tools to ensure a safe working environment Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, filter replacements, and light repairs Experience Dealership experience or prior automotive repair background is highly desirable Proven mechanic experience with hands-on knowledge of automotive systems and repairs Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair procedures Experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment Service technician experience preferred but not required for entry-level candidates willing to learn Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments Basic sales skills for recommending additional services or products as needed This position is ideal for individuals passionate about automotive maintenance who are eager to grow their skills in a professional setting.
