Automotive Technician

We are looking for the right candidate to train to fix the upcoming electric vehicles and the current electrical systems in new Subaru's. Without a Factory Trained Technician, we will not be able to service customer cars effectively. Cars are becoming moving computers and the electrical diagnosis is very difficult if you can become effective at fixing upcoming electric cars and current electrical systems the sky is the limit. Compensation:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

• State Inspection license
• Proper box and tools
• ASE certification (not required)
• Electric Diagnosis skills
• Heavy powertrain repair, welding, and torch skills
• Subaru training or prior Subaru mechanical experience
