Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Conduct alignments, wheel balancing, and suspension repairs to ensure vehicle safety and optimal handling. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Service vehicles by replacing worn parts, performing oil changes, brake repairs, and other routine maintenance tasks. Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair machinery safely and effectively. Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimating and communicate repair progress clearly to customers. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology and ability to calibrate sensors accurately. Skilled in reading schematics, automotive diagnostics, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge of powertrains, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; familiarity with auto estimating software is advantageous. Hands-on experience with wheel alignments, vehicle electrical systems, welding techniques, and service repairs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
