214160 About the Role PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Aircraft Electrical Technician to join our team in Columbus, MS. This position plays a critical role in supporting the fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic systems on aircraft-primarily rotorcraft. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and a collaborative mindset.. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical/electronic work on aircraft and components, including fabrication, installation, and repair. Support helicopter-specific programs and maintenance operations. Conduct operational checks and diagnostics to ensure system functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions through adjustments, repairs, or part replacements. Interpret blueprints, sketches, service manuals, and technical data to meet specifications. Use a variety of hand tools, power equipment, and test devices. Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed work. Coordinate with internal departments for materials, equipment, and scheduling. Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 6 years of avionics experience, preferably with rotorcraft. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing aircraft electrical systems. Familiarity with FAA compliance standards.
