PRISM is seeking a skilled AWS/Cloud DBA to manage and optimize cloud-hosted data environments. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and high availability of AWS-based systems while supporting mission-critical data workflows. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional Looking to deepen their expertise in cloud data engineering and modern database operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with backup, restore, and recovery processes to ensure data protection and continuity Write and maintain automation and administrative scripts using Bash, Python, Perl, or similar tools Support and administer relational databases including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or comparable platforms Monitor system health and database performance, participating in tuning and optimization efforts Work in Linux/UNIX environments to support day-to-day database and data platform operations Help develop, maintain, and support ETL workflows and data pipelines Contribute to data modeling efforts and maintain well-structured schemas Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to support cloud-based deployments Assist with database security practices, including access controls and compliance requirements Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and continuity Bring a basic understanding of infrastructure and cloud concepts, with AWS experience preferred
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
(SKILLS/EDUCATION): 5+ years of relevant, professional experience with being an AWS DBA or a Cloud DBA, including Db2 Must possess an active Secret clearance or above
