In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing friendly, efficient service while managing daily banking transactions. Your proactive approach in promoting financial products and safeguarding customer assets will help build lasting relationships and foster trust. Duties Handle a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash handling, and check processing with accuracy and attention to detail. Assist customers with account inquiries, account openings, loan origination support, and basic math calculations related to banking services. Promote bank products and services through upselling and cross-selling opportunities such as savings accounts, credit cards, and loans. Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring suspicious activity and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Manage customer relationships by providing personalized service, addressing concerns promptly, and maintaining ongoing communication to foster loyalty. Process loan applications, verify documentation, and assist in loan processing tasks to support the bank's lending operations. Utilize financial software systems efficiently for cash management, debit & credit transactions, and recordkeeping. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times while adhering to bank policies on cash handling, cashiering procedures, and retail math calculations like 10 key typing. Experience Prior experience in banking or retail sales is preferred but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn! Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across diverse audiences. Basic math proficiency including cash handling, debits & credits, and retail math calculations. Familiarity with financial services software or point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy under pressure. Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and relationship management practices will set you apart.
