Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Bar Manager to lead our bar operations with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily bar activities, manage staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive the success of our beverage service, uphold high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and foster a team-oriented environment that encourages growth and excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills within a dynamic hospitality setting. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all bar staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure a motivated and efficient team Oversee daily bar operations, including food preparation, drink mixing, and ensuring quick service in a fast-paced environment Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Operate POS systems such as Toast for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reconciliation Maintain compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests Coordinate with kitchen management on food production, catering orders, and special event setups like banquets or private functions Assist in interviewing and onboarding new team members while supporting ongoing staff training & development initiatives Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction and foster positive relationships Support shift management duties by ensuring smooth transitions between team members during busy hours Qualifications Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management, preferably within casual dining or fine dining environments Demonstrated supervising experience with strong leadership skills in hospitality or food industry settings Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food handling safety standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for efficient transaction processing Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and bar management practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to train staff on hospitality best practices Strong organizational skills for shift management, staff training & development, and maintaining operational standards Previous experience working in restaurant or bar environments is highly desirable Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cash handling duties confidently Join us as a Bar Manager where your passion for hospitality meets your leadership talents!
