Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Toast, DoorDash to process transactions efficiently and accurately Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math to ensure correct payment processing Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance Assist with food preparation and serving snacks or light meals as needed during busy hours Qualifications Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred; enthusiasm for learning is essential Familiarity with toast POS system is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak times Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift moderate loads when necessary Embark on a rewarding journey in the food industry by joining our team!
