Job Description

The Impact You'll Make Danfoss in Easley, SC has an immediate opening for a 3rd shift Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Lathe Operator to join our diverse team. The CNC Lathe Machine Operator will oversee the daily operations of manufacturing machinery. Responsibilities include conducting tests prior to starting operations, programming and monitoring machines during product assembly, and inspecting machinery at the end of each shift to identify parts requiring maintenance. What You'll Be Doing Configure or program the computer controlling the machinery. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all certifications are up to date. Examine the machinery and products to guarantee quality standards. Conduct daily maintenance on the machinery. Manage materials carefully and in compliance with safety guidelines. What We're Looking For High school education or equivalent. Proficient mathematical skills for accurately inputting specific dimensions and figures into CNC machinery. Ability to interpret information from blueprints or other technical documents to ensure the final product aligns with the design specifications. Strong computer skills, as CNC operators utilize specialized software to control machinery. Understanding of G & M codes along with conversational programming. Effective problem-solving skills to identify issues during the manufacturing process and implement solutions that ensure the machinery produces the product according to the design.
