This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment during rushes, and is comfortable working independently during slower periods. About the Role As a barista, you'll work in our front-of-house café serving customers, preparing drinks, and helping create a welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors. You'll be responsible for opening or closing the café, handling drink and pastry orders, restocking inventory, making coffee, and maintaining a clean workspace throughout your shift. We offer a full-service espresso bar featuring a La Marzocco Linea PB 2 Group espresso machine, along with drip coffee, matcha, hot and iced teas, and hot chocolate. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly customer service Take drink and pastry orders accurately Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, teas, matcha, and other café beverages Serve pastries prepared by our bakery team Open or close the café Restock pastries and café supplies throughout shifts Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and workstations Work independently during slower shifts and efficiently during busy rushes Schedule & Availability Part-time position Shifts typically range from 6-8 hours Some evening and weekend availability is required What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Comfortable working alone for portions of shifts Able to multitask and stay organized Positive attitude and strong communication skills Previous barista or food service experience preferred, but willing to train the right person Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during busy periods We're a small, family-run bakery & café looking for someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team and helping create a warm, welcoming experience for our customers.

Pay:

$9.00 - $12.00 per hour
