Bartender

Copperhead Creek Bar in Batavia is accepting applications for part time Daytime Bartenders for current and future need, with the occasional evening shifts. We are looking for enthusiastic bartenders with a dynamic personality to provide an excellent guest drinking and eating experience. You must be neat, clean, and presentable at all times. Ability to multitask, make proper change, and operate a POS system. Responsibilities Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations POS experience preferred Must be able to mix drinks quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, high volume environment Must be able to frequently reach, bend, stoop, shake, stir stock bar and wipe, clean, lift move kegs, soda, CO tanks, must be able to frequently immerse hands in hot water Must present a neat, clean and well groomed appearance.

Job Duties:

Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed Other duties as requested This Company Describes Its Culture as: Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused Team-oriented -- cooperative and collaborative Typical end time: 2AM Typical start time: 12
