Bartender/Server

Overview $15 per hour, PLUS TIPS! We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every member and guest receives an exceptional experience while at Apple Creek Golf Club. This role offers an hourly wage along with the potential to earn tips. As a Bartender/Server, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and your attention to detail will contribute significantly to Apple Creek's success. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and promotions to effectively engage with members and guests. Provide excellent customer service by interacting with members & guests in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Manage inventory levels of bar supplies, including ordering and restocking as necessary. Clean and sanitize bar equipment, glassware, and work areas regularly to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with events as needed, providing bartending services for private functions. Handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management practices are followed. Qualifications Must be 21 years or older. Experience Required. Outgoing and personable - must build strong relationships with club members. Excellent communication skills - able to engage in conversation and provide top-tier hospitality. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment (bars & beer carts). Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine (or eagerness to learn). Professional and polished appearance. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role. Flexible schedule required - includes evenings, weekends, and special events. Strong knowledge of basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Understanding of food safety practices related to beverage preparation and service. Ability to brew coffee or other beverages as required by the establishment's offerings. Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively to members & guests.
