Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling and cashiering skills. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while demonstrating effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleanup for events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all health regulations are followed. Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that aligns with the venue's vibe, whether in a nightclub setting or a fine dining environment. Requirements Must be available to work Wednesday and Saturday. Wednesday on the bar and serving on Saturday. Hours of opperation are 4pm-9pm. Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling practices, and alcohol serving regulations. Ability to manage time efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Experience working in nightlife venues like nightclubs or in catering environments is desirable. Must be 18 years or older (or as required by local laws) to serve alcohol; certification in responsible beverage service is advantageous.
