Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
• Process payments and provide accurate change to guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area

Skills:

• Strong culinary knowledge to accurately describe menu items and make recommendations
• Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive dining experience for guests
• Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, coordinating with kitchen staff for smooth operations
• Hospitality skills to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient service
• Proficient in guest services, including taking reservations and managing seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar software
• Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to maintain food safety standards
• Basic food preparation skills, such as assembling salads or desserts Please note that previous experience as a server is preferred but not required.
