Behavior Health Technician

Rockwood is a Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm Applied Behavior Analysis clinic that offers private education along side the therapy services. We are dedicated to providing our clients the individualized therapy they need to achieve academic success and personal growth. A Behavior Health Technician provides the 1:1 ABA therapy to our clients under the clinical direction of the Supervising BCBA. They will be responsible for implementing skill-acquisition and behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA to deliver quality therapeutic services to each child. Responsibilities of a

Behavior Health Technician:

Complete daily acquisition skills, maintenance, and mastered skills as directed by BCBA Collect accurate data on a daily basis Complete all data sheets, programming sheets, and progress notes daily Follow behavior plan and reinforcement schedule as prescribed Implement appropriate teaching strategies and behavior modification approaches Complete all programming requests from BCBA in a timely manner Assist in providing a safe environment for all students and staff Assist with problem solving to improve efficiency and morale within the school Behavior Health Technician should be: Able to regularly work 20-35 hours per week Reliable transportation Must have or be able to obtain by hire a class 1 fingerprint clearance card. Must abide by company policies and procedures and sign confidentiality and non-compete agreement. Employees must be able to verbally communicate in English. Bilingual a plus. Behavior Health Technician:

At least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED ABA experience preferred, but not required Must have or be capable of completing First Aid/CPR training within 90 days of hire.

Physical Demands:

A Behavior Health Technician must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, standing for long periods of time) Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities. Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 75 lbs.)
