Assists young adults in identifying healthy, sustainable use strategies while addressing physical, emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns using a strength-based, client-centered, family systems recovery model. In this case management / agency affiliated counselor position, you will: Design and develop client centered service plans with regular updates Manage a caseload of emerging adults living independently Conduct household inspections of living areas and document Coach individuals on basic skills of daily living (ADL's) Handle a variety of administrative paperwork assignments Focus on client strengths over the course of engagement Provide crisis intervention and behavior management support Share psycho-educational training materials using a variety of experiential strategies Coordinate individual, family and group therapy sessions Communicate weekly with family members and referral sources Involve fellow team members in collaborative care, and service planning Foster team collaboration in transition planning Be a part of corporate networking by writing an article once a month Keep clinical team updated by attending team meetings Feel challenged, laugh often, shed a tear, and change lives

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in social services, or healthcare related field Ability to register as an agency affiliated counselor Minimum 1 year experience in mental health, education, or residential care preferred Must be comfortable working with people with addictive behaviors. Strong communication and problem-solving skills Valid WA driver's license and clean driving record Must pass background check and drug screen (including THC) Must have a valid CPR, AED, and First-Aid in person course certification Food Handler's Card Any job offer will be contingent upon the results of a background check.
