Job Description
HTA of New York is seeking a motivated and compassionate Bilingual Speech Evaluator (SLP) to join our growing team in Rockland County. We are looking for clinicians who are bilingual in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or other languages to help support the diverse families in our community. Whether you are looking to add evaluations to your current caseload, transition into evaluation work, or find referrals closer to home, we offer flexible opportunities designed to fit your schedule and professional goals. What We Offer Flexible scheduling Steady stream of referrals Competitive compensation Supportive and responsive administrative team Electronic billing and streamlined documentation Opportunities for full-time, part-time, per diem, or contract work Referrals located closer to home whenever possible Responsibilities Conduct speech and language evaluations for children Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluation reports in a timely manner Collaborate with families, service coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in eligibility determination and recommendations for services Maintain compliance with agency and state guidelines Maintain accurate documentation and electronic records Qualifications Current New York State Speech-Language Pathology license TSSLD and/or CCC-SLP preferred Bilingual skills strongly preferred (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or other languages) Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or another language Strong written communication and report-writing skills Experience communicating with culturally diverse families preferred Ability to manage documentation and complete reports independently and on time
