Blender Machine Operator

Top rated equipment, seasoning, and marinade company in the food industry is seeking a Batcher/Blender in Signal Hill, California. A qualified operator of the following: Steam Kettle, plus one of the following: Mixer/Blender, Bowl Chopper, Size Reduction Equipment (dicers, grinders and mills). Responsible for the timely and accurate production of WIP or finished goods according to work orders and the production schedule, within published product specifications and according to established machine efficiency standards. The work schedule is 4:00 am - 12: 30 pm and can changed based on business need.

GENERAL SUMMARY

A qualified operator Dry Mixer and/ or Blender operator will process ingredients in blending equipment to make batch formulation. Complete required production records. Responsibilities (this list is not inclusive of all duties assigned): Set up and start automatic mixer/ or blending equipment. Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications. Read formulas of small batches of spices, mixed product into box, bags or bulk bags. Prepare ingredients and formulate batches for mixing /and or blending operations. Stage and verify recipe ingredient prior to mix /and or blend process. Stage and verify product by mixing, and / or blending ingredients in an efficient manner. Monitor blending ingredients during the blending and bulking process of the blended product. Endure compounding areas are maintained in a clean and well organized state. Document the blending process and evaluate for future reference. Process the food items within all applicable company guideline, FDA, quality control and /or O.S.H.A Regulations for the blending / compounding of all products. Communicate with supervisor about job related functions and position throughout various stages of the processing of ingredients and recipes. Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards. Be responsible for quality and quantity of production on daily basis Understand scheduling and can adequately perform in the absence of the crew leader.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution goods. Ability to read and understand test inspections, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Ability to lift 50 lbs Valid drivers license
