Job DescriptionJob Description The Bookkeeping Assistant plays a crucial role in managing financial data with accuracy and efficiency. This position is responsible for recording transactions, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting tax preparation, primarily using QuickBooks. Handling a high volume of 500-1000 monthly transactions, the assistant ensures data accuracy and organizational excellence, reporting to other team members. No travel is required, and there is an opportunity to advance to an Accounting Specialist role. Responsibilities Record financial transactions accurately and timely Process and verify invoices for payment Perform account reconciliations to ensure consistency Support tax preparation activities with relevant documentation Review bank statements for discrepancies and resolve issues Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of bookkeeping experience High School Diploma or equivalent Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Knowledge of basic accounting principles Strong data accuracy and attention to detail Effective time management and organizational skills
