Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position as a School Psychologist supporting learners in a vibrant academic environment near Concord, NC. This part-time opportunity offers approximately 20 hours per week, making it ideal for professionals seeking flexibility while making a significant impact on student success and well-being.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Current licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Graduate degree (Ed.

S., SSP, or Ph.D./Psy.

D.) in School Psychology or a related field Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and evidence-based interventions Strong skills in assessment, data interpretation, and intervention planning Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students Experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans Deliver consultation and intervention services to support student learning and social/emotional development Participate in crisis response and problem-solving teams as needed Provide professional guidance to educators and parents, sharing resources and strategies for student success Maintain timely, organized documentation and adhere to all federal, state, and district regulations Enjoy the advantage of a part-time, contract arrangement that allows you to maintain work-life balance while shaping positive educational outcomes.
