Job Description

No Calls or Walk-Ins Allowed Previous retail and/or bookstore management is preferred but not required . At The Book Cellar, we aren't just a bookstore. We host monthly events for all ages, as well as book clubs for our customers. We are currently looking to add an Assistant Manager/Lead Bookseller to our team. This person will be responsible for assisting the owner in planning events, meeting monthly sales goals, tracking inventory, training staff members, and more. Qualities we are looking for in the ideal candidate: Previous experience in bookstore or similar setting. Management experience preferred. Outgoing personality and enthusiastic
  • we value customer experience over everything! Admin experience is required. Great work ethic
  • must be okay with cleaning and have initiative. Must enjoy reading! Booksellers and managers are responsible for recommending books to customers, so reading is a necessity. Comfortable with change
  • as a newer bookstore, we are always changing and expanding to grow our business and make events bigger and better. Dependable with reliable transportation. Ability to work under pressure Available to work weekends. Comfortable interacting with children
  • we have several child-focused events throughout the year.
Pay:
$35,000.00
  • $45,000.
