Box Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks, and possess excellent customer service skills. This role involves delivering tires to various locations, ensuring timely and safe transport while maintaining high standards of service. The Truck Driver will also be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, managing routes efficiently, and adhering to safety regulations. Background check is required for the position. This is purely a contract 1099 role, no benefits. Responsibilities Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for delivery purposes Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques Navigate designated routes effectively while ensuring timely deliveries Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Communicate with warehouse staff regarding inventory levels and delivery schedules Assist with heavy lifting and moving of goods as required Requirements Valid driver's license (DL class C) with a clean driving record Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism Capability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly Excellent route driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations Join our team today as a Truck Driver where your skills will be valued, and your contributions will make a difference!
