JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Biller generates and processes customer and carrier invoices by reviewing shipping documents, applying correct freight rates, and resolving discrepancies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Prepare, verify, and process customer freight bills and carrier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Enter billing information into billing software (TVI), ensure proper data entry quality, and maintain digital records and paperwork.
  • Review shipping documents, verify freight rates, tariffs, and carrier charges to ensure they align with RoadOne practices and customer contracts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to billing, short payments, and account information.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers, carriers, and internal staff regarding billing inquiries and issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Meticulousness in verifying data and ensuring the accuracy of all billing transactions is crucial.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, documents, and priorities effectively in a fast
  • paced environment is essential.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and strong Microsoft Excel skills are required, including ability to do pivot tables, VLookups
  • Ability to analyze information and effectively resolve discrepancies and issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, carriers and internal partners.
  • Familiarity with transportation industry billing practices, freight rating systems, and regulations is beneficial.
  • A high school diploma or GED is generally required
