We are looking to hire someone for 12 days of work from Sept. 28th-Oct. 9th (including the weekend) for work in the Aiken County, SC area. We help businesses perform an inventory count of all of their equipment using hand-held barcode scanners. (As an example we count their computers, their janitorial equipment, their machinery, their kitchen equipment, everything!) It is straightforward work and does not require any previous experience, but does require being on time, attention to detail and the ability to be on your feet for 9-10 hours per day. You will receive training on your first day and you will also be working alongside experienced team members that can help answer questions. Previous inventory experience is not required but a willingness to learn a new procedure and attentiveness to the work is needed. It is also very important that you are able to show up for every day of work, so please be sure that you are available all days during the above time periods when applying. Hours are roughly 8am-6pm every day, so generally about 9-10 hour days, some days are a little shorter or longer (we take a lunch break and you are still paid for that time). This job is a good fit if: You notice when something is off, a mislabeled item, a number that does not match, a room that got skipped. You would rather work steadily and accurately than rush and redo it. You are comfortable following a set procedure the same way every time. You show up on time, every day, without needing a reminder. It is probably not a good fit if you are looking for desk work, need a flexible schedule, or may have conflicts during the 12-day window. We will provide a company polo shirt and ask that you wear clean pants and comfortable walking shoes. You must have reliable transportation to be able to commute to and throughout Aiken County, SC. You must also be able to pass a background check. To apply, reply with all three of the following: A few sentences about yourself and any relevant work history (a short resume is helpful but not required). Written confirmation that you are available to work all 12 days, Sept. 28 through Oct. 9, including the weekend. Confirmation that you have reliable transportation to and around Aiken County, SC.

Part-time, Temporary Pay:
$25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Please tell us a few sentences about yourself!
