Qualifications:

• Accounting experience required; accounting education preferred
• Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
• Intermediate user of Excel
• Ability to ten-key by touch
• Strong organizational skills is a must
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail an accuracy
• Intermediate accounting knowledge
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Ability to prioritize job duties to meet deadlines Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Prioritize workflow for office staff.
• Assist staff with accounting functions and coach if needed.
• Supervise file organization.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Perform and supervise bookkeeping functions, A/R and A/P functions, GL entries, deposits and receipts, DMV documents.
• Reconcile accounting schedules, make account adjustments, and resolve credit issues.
• Review finance contracts for proper submission.
• Maintain petty cash and check approval.
• Other accounting functions and general office duties Working conditions are indoors, in an office environment, spending up to full work shift working on PC, standing and/or walking for short distances throughout work shift, and frequent use of telephone.
