In Person Join the Team at UDermic Health UDermic Health is a physician-led dermatology practice in Evans, GA, dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care. We are looking for a professional, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. The front desk plays an essential role in our practice and is often the first and last interaction a patient has with our team. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of creating a welcoming, organized, and professional experience while keeping up with the demands of a busy medical office. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment . You should be able to communicate professionally with patients, work effectively as part of a team, and remain organized and composed during busy clinic days. Previous medical office or dermatology experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and willingness to learn. Responsibilities As a Medical Front Desk Receptionist, you will: Welcome and check in patients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. Manage patient check-in and check-out, including verifying demographic information, collecting required forms, scheduling follow-up appointments, and collecting patient payments. Verify insurance information and ensure patient records are accurate and up to date. Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist patients or route calls to the appropriate team member. Schedule and manage patient appointments according to practice guidelines. Maintain accurate patient information and documentation within Epic EMR . Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients regarding appointments, paperwork, payments, and general office questions. Assist with incoming and outgoing faxes, medical records, referrals, and other front-office administrative responsibilities. Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and waiting area. Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements at all times. Assist other team members and departments when needed to support the overall success of the practice. Qualifications Previous medical office, medical receptionist, or front desk experience preferred. Dermatology experience is a plus. Experience with Epic EMR is preferred but not required. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, phones, and standard office equipment.
