Job Summary Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist and become the welcoming face of our animal care facility! In this energetic role, you'll be the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors, ensuring smooth communication and efficient appointment scheduling. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a positive experience for clients and their beloved animals. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly, answer phone calls, and manage appointment scheduling with enthusiasm and professionalism Handle medical collections accurately, ensuring all billing procedures are completed efficiently Maintain detailed records of patient visits, treatments, and laboratory results while adhering to confidentiality standards Assist with pet check-ins and check-outs, providing excellent customer service to pet owners Support veterinary staff with tasks such as animal restraint, animal husbandry, and basic pet care instructions Manage kennel operations including cleaning, feeding, and monitoring animals in our care Facilitate communication between clients and veterinary team members regarding treatment plans and follow-up care Requirements Previous experience in veterinary clinics or animal handling is highly preferred, including kennel experience and dog handling skills Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, aseptic techniques, and laboratory procedures is advantageous Familiarity with pet grooming, dog training, pet care, and animal restraint techniques is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical collection and record keeping Ability to handle animals safely during procedures such as animal catheterization or critical care situations Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members A proactive attitude with a passion for animal welfare and customer service excellence This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to support animals' health while engaging with pet owners in a lively, supportive environment. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
