Job Description

The Title Specialist II is responsible for reviewing and validating property-related documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company requirements. This role performs detailed reviews of insurance policies, property records, HOA documentation, and supporting collateral information while maintaining a high degree of accuracy across a large portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, thrives in a process-driven environment, and is comfortable researching and analyzing property-related documentation. This position regularly collaborates with internal business partners and may support multiple teams based on operational needs. Responsibilities Review insurance policies to verify accuracy of property information, endorsements, coverage details, and required documentation. Validate property data and ensure policies are formatted and documented correctly. Review HOA documentation, declarations, covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs), and other property-related records to determine applicable requirements. Research and obtain missing documentation through internal resources, public records, county clerk websites, and other available sources. Analyze property-related documents and identify discrepancies, exceptions, or data inconsistencies requiring resolution. Maintain accurate records and documentation of research findings. Support quality control efforts by ensuring documentation meets established standards and business requirements. Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve documentation issues and support operational objectives. Assist other departments and workstreams as business needs require. Prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining productivity and accuracy in a high-volume environment. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Preferred Qualifications Experience reviewing property, title, insurance, legal, mortgage servicing, or related documentation. Familiarity with HOA documentation, property records, or public record research. Knowledge of residential real estate transactions and property-related documentation. Ability to research information using county clerk websites, public record systems, and other online resources. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. Associate's degree or some college coursework preferred. Experience in title, mortgage servicing, insurance, real estate, legal support, document review, quality control, or a related field preferred. Experience handling large volumes of documentation while maintaining accuracy preferred. Familiarity with property records, HOA documentation, title documentation, insurance policies, or related records is a plus. Why Selene?
