Join in as a vital part in keeping this 198 acre, family-owned farm running from day to day, tending to the greenhouses, growing fresh produce, working in the vineyards, caring for our animals, and helping with ever-evolving projects around the property. You will be actively involved in hands-on tasks that promote sustainable farming practices, work with our kitchen team to supply fresh food to our customers, and help us in our mission to share agrotourism with locals and visitors alike. Learn beside out Vegetable Production and Project Managers in all things outdoors, with potential housing opportunies to live right on the farm for the season. Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain farm machinery including tractors, irrigation systems, and heavy equipment such as forklifts and power tools.
• Assist with animal husbandry tasks, including livestock handling, feeding, cleaning, and health monitoring to ensure animal welfare.
• Perform manual handling duties such as lifting, moving supplies, fencing repairs, and equipment setup to support daily farm operations.
• Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance using hand tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge to keep machinery in optimal condition.
• Oversee crop cultivation activities including planting, watering, pruning, greenhouse management, and growing experience to promote healthy yields.
• Support irrigation processes and horticultural tasks to optimize plant growth and farm productivity. Experience
• Proven supervising experience or leadership roles within farm or outdoor environments a plus
• Hands-on experience safely operating and maintaining agricultural machinery such as tractors, forklifts, power tools, and irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of animal care practices including livestock handling and animal husbandry techniques.
• Prior outdoor work experience in farming or horticulture settings is highly desirable.
• Experience with greenhouse management or growing crops is a plus.
