Job Description
Private 6.7 acre farm in the Blairstown area is looking for a reliable, experienced farmhand. Part-time, 20+ hours per week, with potential to become full-time employment.
Pay:
$25- 30/hour, depending on experience.
Duties:
- Horse care and general barn work
- Tractor operation
- Fence installation and repair
- Mowing, brush cutting and property maintenance
- General farm repairs and upkeep
- Landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Feeding, watering and moving horses
- Hay and farm equipment work
- Other general farm duties as needed Ideal candidate:
- Previous farm, horse, landscaping or property-maintenance experience
- Comfortable around horses, dogs, cats and other animals
- Tractor/equipment experience strongly preferred
- Able to work independently and take direction
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
