Licensed Irrigator / Install Crew Lead — Austin, TX Sprinkler Medics of Austin Round Rock, TX Job Details Full-time | Contract $35 - $45 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Irrigator License In-person customer service Backflow Certification Training Crew management Full Job Description Sprinkler Medics of Austin is looking for an experienced, licensed irrigator to lead a new install crew and support our repair team when install work is lighter. About the Role You'll run point on new irrigation system installs — leading a crew, managing job-site quality, and making sure work gets done right the first time. When install demand is lower, you'll work alongside our repair technicians on service calls. This isn't a seasonal gig — it's steady, year-round work with the type of work shifting based on what the business needs. What You'll Do Lead a crew on new irrigation installs from start to finish Read and execute irrigation designs accurately Ensure code compliance and backflow prevention standards are met Train and direct crew members (including in-house helpers) on install best practices Step into repair/service technician work during slower install periods Maintain quality and safety standards on every job site Communicate professionally with customers on-site when needed What We're Looking For Active Texas Irrigator License (required) Solid hands-on experience with irrigation installation — not just repair Comfortable leading a crew and holding people accountable to a standard Reliable, shows up, communicates when plans change Experience with Austin-area soil conditions and water restrictions is a plus Backflow certification a plus (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and license Steady, year-round work — not seasonal layoffs A growing company with real room to build something long-term A team that actually has your back About Us Sprinkler Medics of Austin has been growing fast — we're expanding into landscaping services and building a team that does things right, not just fast.
