Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Tree Service Groundman Foreman to join our dynamic team! As a Groundman Foreman, you will work alongside our tree care specialists to ensure the safe and efficient removal, trimming, and maintenance of trees for residential and commercial clients. This role combines hands-on labor with leadership responsibilities in guiding a small crew.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and direct tree care operations, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other tree care machinery. Manage a team of ground workers and assist with their training and development. Ensure the safety of all crew members and clients during tree removal, pruning, and related tasks. Assist with the setup and breakdown of job sites, including traffic control when necessary. Perform basic tree climbing and rigging when required. Ensure that job sites are kept clean and organized throughout the day. Maintain accurate logs of work completed and materials used. Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safe operation. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors.

Qualifications:

2 year of Tree service experience. Proven leadership and team management skills. Ability to operate tree service machinery and equipment safely. Basic knowledge of tree care techniques, including pruning, trimming, and removal. Valid driver's license (CDL preferred). Arborist certifications are a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude. Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job in all weather conditions.
