Duties Perform lawn care tasks including fertilizing to ensure optimal landscape health and appearance Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and accurately following all pesticide management and integrated pest management protocols Operate truck, pump, hoses, blowers, spreader while adhering to safety procedures Conduct pest control treatments targeting insects, weeds, and other pests using appropriate chemical handling techniques Follow ladder safety procedures and confined space entry safety procedures when working at heights or in restricted areas Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, pest control activities, and landscape maintenance tasks Communicate effectively with clients to assess their needs and provide excellent customer service while explaining treatments or recommendations Skills Strong knowledge of pesticide application methods, pest control chemicals, and integrated pest management strategies Mechanical knowledge related to lawn equipment Familiarity with chemical agent handling including proper storage, mixing, and disposal practices Understanding of respiratory protection requirements when working with chemicals or in dusty environments Outdoor work experience in landscaping, farming, agriculture or similar settings demonstrating physical stamina and attention to detail Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and address their landscape concerns confidently This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in lawn care while making a tangible difference in outdoor environments.
