Tips Lawn Care Technician:

$18•21 per hour

Lawn Applicator:

$19•24 per hour

Crew Lead:

$21•26 per hour Final base pay is based on experience, licensing, leadership ability, and driving record. Employees can earn additional performance-based pay for productivity, quality, safety and dependable attendance. Client tips are passed through directly to the employees who performed the work. What You Can Expect From Us Competitive base pay with performance-based earning opportunities Year-round work for our team Client tips passed through to the employees who performed the work Consistent full-time scheduling during the primary season Opportunities for additional hours during busy periods Training and support for applicator certification Paid training Company-provided uniforms and sun-protection gear Commercial-grade equipment Organized routes and clear daily expectations Opportunities to advance into crew leadership, working field supervision and specialized services A locally owned company where dependable employees and excellent performance are recognized Available Positions Lawn Care Technician Perform mowing, trimming, edging, blowing and property cleanup Operate commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers and other equipment Maintain clean, professional-looking customer properties Load, unload, clean and care for equipment Follow assigned routes and safety procedures Report property damage, equipment concerns and customer requests Lawn Applicator Apply fertilizer, weed control and other lawn-care products according to labels and company procedures Measure, mix, load and document applications accurately Inspect lawns for weeds, turf stress, disease, insects and other concerns Maintain accurate application and chemical-use records Clean, calibrate and care for application equipment Communicate professionally with customers when needed Kansas commercial pesticide applicator certification is preferred; qualified candidates willing to obtain certification will also be considered Crew Lead Lead a lawn-maintenance crew through its assigned daily route Organize employees, equipment and materials before leaving the shop Train team members on quality standards and safe equipment operation Ensure properties are completed correctly and on schedule Inspect completed work and correct quality issues Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors and team members Complete route notes, service photos, time records, and required documentation Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance needs Help the crew work efficiently without sacrificing safety or quality Qualifications Lawn-care or landscaping experience is preferred but not required for entry-level technicians At least one year of relevant experience is preferred for applicators and crew leads Crew-lead applicants should have prior leadership or route-management experience Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are strongly preferred Reliable transportation to our Tonganoxie facility Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, and changing weather Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day Dependable attendance and punctuality Professional attitude and ability to work effectively with a team Willingness to follow instructions, work safely, and care for company equipment Legally authorized to work in the United States Additional Seasonal Opportunities Depending on business needs, employees may also have opportunities to work in landscaping, seasonal cleanups, Christmas-light installation, snow and ice management, and other outdoor services.
