Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Pour Crew member for an immediate opportunity in Ephrata, PA.
ENTRY-LEVEL OPPORTUNITY WITH ROOM TO GROW!
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and interest in developing their concrete skills. The company values cross-training and provides opportunities to grow responsibilities and pay based on performance.
PAY:
Starting at $19/hr. (higher rate possible based on experience)
HOURS:
4:00 AM - 1:00 PM

DURATION:
Long-term/permanent opportunity with room for growth
Pour and finish concrete in forms as part of a team. This is a safety-sensitive position involving power tools and equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
Place and finish concrete in forms.
Operate and maintain pouring tools, including screeds and hand tools.
Assist other crews as needed when pouring work is complete.
Communicate and work effectively with Production Team members.
Follow instructions provided by the Foreman.
Maintain a strong attendance record and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
Qualifications:
Previous concrete finishing experience or demonstrated knowledge of concrete finishing.
Ability to recognize potential problems before a job is poured.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Must be able to work effectively with a diverse group of team members.
Must successfully complete lockout/tagout training.
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and twist frequently, with occasional crouching, crawling, and climbing.
Must be comfortable working in a noisy and active environment with exposure to machinery, power tools, form oil, dust, and concrete.
Must be able to tolerate occasional excessive temperatures inside the plant during summer.
Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Forklift certification preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable attendance.
Must own and wear safety-toed shoes and use company-provided PPE.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
Pre-employment drug screen required: 5-panel drug screen.
