Communicate daily with superintendents, project management, inspectors, and other field personnel regarding progress, scheduling, and potential issues. Inspect completed work to ensure installations meet plans, specifications, elevations, and quality requirements. Identify field conflicts or potential construction issues and communicate them promptly to project leadership. Maintain a safe and organized jobsite and enforce company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements. Ensure proper trench safety, excavation safety, shoring, access, and jobsite safety procedures are followed. Conduct daily safety meetings/JHAs as required and ensure crew members understand assigned work and hazards. Monitor crew productivity and adjust manpower, equipment, and daily work plans as necessary to maintain production. Train and mentor crew members while maintaining accountability for safety, workmanship, attendance, and productivity.
