Full-time Position Summary The Electrical Foreman is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising electrical crews performing industrial and data center construction. The Foreman ensures work is completed safely, productively, and in accordance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, quality requirements, and the National Electrical Code. Foreman Responsibilities Lead and supervise electricians, lead personnel, and apprentices. Assign daily work based on crew capabilities, project priorities, and scheduled activities. Conduct daily pre-task planning meetings and communicate production goals to the crew. Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and installation details before beginning work. Coordinate underground, electrical-room, raceway, cable tray, grounding, feeder, equipment, and system installations. Plan temporary power installations and modifications. Coordinate manpower requirements with the Superintendent and Project Manager. Monitor crew productivity, installed quantities, labor hours, percent complete, and cost-code performance. Maintain accurate daily production reports, manpower reports, timesheets, and installed-quantity records. Ensure employee time is entered under the correct project cost codes. Maintain current progress drawings and accurate project as-built drawings. Complete and maintain torque reports, insulation-resistance test reports, and other required QA/QC documentation. Inspect completed installations for compliance with drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and the current NEC. Identify installation conflicts, missing information, and constructability issues before they affect production. Submit RFIs and communicate field issues to project management in a timely manner. Identify material requirements and submit material requests early enough to prevent work interruptions. Keep materials and tools staged near active work areas to reduce employee travel time. Maintain clean and organized material-storage areas, and work areas. Manage company tools and rental equipment. Ensure company tools and equipment are secured at the end of each shift. Coordinate electrical work with the general contractor, subcontractors, other trades, BIM personnel, and project management. Enforce all company, customer, OSHA, and project-specific safety requirements. Ensure crews maintain proper housekeeping and complete daily cleanup. Implement all project QA/QC procedures and correct deficient work. Identify individual employee skills and assign personnel where they will be most effective. Train, coach, and develop lead personnel, electricians, and apprentices. Address attendance, productivity, quality, and performance issues with employees. Complete employee performance evaluations and review them with the Superintendent. Participate in project meetings, safety meetings, planning sessions, and company training. Immediately report safety incidents, equipment damage, quality issues, schedule impacts, and material shortages. Maintain professional communication with employees, management, customers, and other contractors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• TDLR Electrical Journeyman License is preferred
• OSHA 30 certified minimum or willing and able to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
• 8+ years of related experience including being part of large-scale projects.
