In this role, you will be an essential part of various construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and the execution of concrete and structural tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and dismantling of construction sites, including site clearing and material staging Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and effectively Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to support accurate execution of tasks Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction in accordance with specifications Install rebar, metal stud framing, and other structural components following safety protocols and technical guidelines Conduct heavy lifting tasks and assist with the transportation of materials around the site Support the installation of hardscape elements like tiles, stucco, plastering, caulking, and other finishing touches Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar laborer role is highly preferred Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with blueprint reading, blueprint specification interpretation, and technical drawing interpretation is advantageous Hands-on experience with concrete forming, concrete finishing, concrete cutting, and concrete pouring is desirable Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely in a construction setting Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Experience with carpentry, plastering, caulking, stucco application, rebar installation, metal stud framing, tile laying, and related tasks is beneficial Join our team if you're eager to build your career in construction!
