Overnight Skilled Construction Laborer Essel - 3.8 San Jose, CA Job Details Part-time $22 - $25 a year 12 hours ago Qualifications Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Skilled Laborer to support an active construction project during the overnight shift. This is a part-time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week, with work scheduled 2-4 nights per week. The ideal candidate will have construction experience, be comfortable working overnight, and have a strong focus on safety, reliability, and quality. The Skilled Laborer will assist the construction crew with general labor, material handling, site preparation, cleanup, and other tasks as directed by the Foreman or Superintendent. Responsibilities Perform general construction and skilled labor duties on an active jobsite Assist carpenters, tradespeople, and other construction personnel as needed Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment Assist with installation, demolition, and site preparation Set up and maintain temporary construction barriers, screens, and protective materials Perform jobsite cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work area Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly Follow instructions from the Foreman/Superintendent Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements Work safely around active construction areas and other trades Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
