Exterior siding replacement We are looking for an experienced siding contractor or siding crew for an exterior siding replacement project in Wakefield, Michigan . The project involves a full tear-off of existing siding and exterior trim, installation of new house wrap/underlayment, and installation of LP SmartSide engineered wood siding with new exterior trim. Contractor must be familiar with proper flashing, water management, and manufacturer installation standards for engineered wood siding. An on-site walkthrough will be needed before the project begins to confirm final scope, access, staging, and installation details. Scope of Work Remove existing exterior siding Remove existing exterior trim as needed Replace/install underlayment or house wrap Install new LP SmartSide siding Install new exterior trim around windows and openings Properly flash windows, doors, penetrations, and siding transitions Seal and detail all trim joints and penetrations as required Maintain a clean and safe jobsite Haul away job-related debris and old materials Complete final cleanup upon project completion Project Details Approx. 1,057 sq. ft. of siding area LP SmartSide siding installation Exterior trim replacement included Multiple windows/openings to be trimmed and flashed Color/finish to be confirmed before installation Materials expected to be coordinated prior to start Target start timing is late September, pending material delivery and contractor availability Requirements Experience with siding tear-off and replacement Experience installing LP SmartSide or similar engineered wood siding preferred Must understand proper flashing and moisture-management practices Must have own tools and equipment Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to complete quality exterior work Must be able to attend a pre-start walkthrough Must be licensed/insured if required for this type of work Photos of past siding work preferred To Apply Please respond with: Name/company name Phone number Availability Relevant siding experience Whether you have installed LP SmartSide before Photos or examples of past siding projects Confirmation that you can work in the Wakefield, MI area Thank you.
