Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Scaffold and Insulation Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality building projects. In this energetic position, you'll assist with erecting scaffolding structures, installing various types of insulation, and supporting other construction activities. Your work will directly contribute to creating comfortable, energy-efficient spaces while adhering to strict safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in construction and insulation while working alongside experienced professionals on diverse projects. Responsibilities Erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding structures safely and efficiently according to project specifications and safety protocols. Install different types of insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, and mineral wool, following blueprint specifications and technical drawings. Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, and measuring tapes to assist with insulation installation and scaffold assembly. Operate power tools safely for cutting, fastening, or shaping insulation materials and scaffolding components. Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation aligned with project requirements. Follow safety protocols rigorously by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA standards, and maintaining a clean work environment. Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with supervisors or clients regarding project progress or issues encountered on-site. Qualifications Prior construction site experience or related labor work is preferred; familiarity with insulation installation is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise work. Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights safely during scaffold assembly or insulation installation. Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction environments. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to power tools, scaffolding, and insulation handling.
