Job Description
Job Description Wallick Communities is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent III to lead multifamily and senior housing construction and renovation projects across multiple states. You will oversee all on-site activities, manage subcontractors, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities include reading plans and specifications, coordinating schedules, inspecting work, resolving field issues, and maintaining documentation. You'll collaborate with project managers, owners, and inspectors while representing Wallick's mission-driven, resident-focused values on every jobsite. Responsibilities Lead daily on-site construction operations for multifamily and senior housing projects across multiple states. Manage subcontractors, trades, and vendors to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications. Develop, maintain, and update construction schedules in coordination with project managers. Enforce jobsite safety programs, conduct regular inspections, and ensure OSHA compliance. Review and interpret drawings, specifications, RFIs, and change orders to guide field work. Monitor progress, track quantities, and assist with cost control and resource planning. Coordinate inspections with owners, architects, engineers, and local code officials. Identify and resolve field issues quickly to minimize delays and rework. Maintain accurate daily reports, photos, and documentation for each project. Represent Wallick's mission and values in all interactions with residents, neighbors, and partners.
