This role coordinates field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders while serving as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Manage all phases of plumbing projects including rough-in, finish, and commissioning Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans Review construction documents, specifications, and submittals for compliance Conduct pre-construction planning and coordinate with general contractors and owners Team & Subcontractor Coordination Direct and supervise field foremen, journeymen, and apprentices Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and other trades to sequence work efficiently Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including procurement and scheduling Financial Management Track project costs and forecast expenditures against approved budgets Prepare and submit owner change orders; review and approve subcontractor change requests Assist with billing, pay applications, and project closeout documentation Quality & Compliance Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, OSHA safety standards, and project specs Coordinate inspections with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) Conduct site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as primary client contact throughout project lifecycle Lead project meetings, provide status updates, and resolve field issues promptly Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes Qualifications Required 4-7 years of experience in plumbing project management or a combination of field supervision and PM experience Journeyman or Master Plumber license (or ability to obtain in applicable jurisdiction) Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial plumbing systems, codes, and installation methods Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience with design-build or tenant improvement projects Familiarity with LEED or sustainable plumbing practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
