Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Avionic Tech Refresh team at Beale AFB. This role focuses on aircraft avionics and electrical environmental systems, requiring proficiency in routing, terminating, and assembling cannon plugs and connectors. Core Responsibilities Construct, install, repair, and maintain standard electrical systems and hardware. Perform conduit tasks including cutting, threading, bending, coupling, and strapping to support infrastructure needs. Replace or repair electrical components such as light fixtures, switch boxes, sockets, fuses, and extension cords. Support the repair process by disassembling generators, motors, and related machinery. Ensure operational safety and efficiency by inspecting grounding, shielding, and wiring circuits to identify malfunctions. Utilize technical drawings, blueprints, and specialized measurement tools to ensure precise installations and diagnostics. Professional Requirements Candidates should possess a background as a USAF 7-level technician or hold an equivalent journeyman certification. Demonstrate 2 to 4 years of experience specifically within modification environments. Prior experience working on fighter aircraft is considered a significant advantage.
